The Giovanni Sartori Prize is awarded annually to the authors of the best paper in the Italian Political Science Review. The 2016 prize went to an article written by Federico Russo and Luca Verzichelli entitled "Government ideology and party priorities: the determinants of public spending changes in Italy".
