Datasets

The Irish Policy Agendas Project has collected data on political parties (1981-2020), legislative bills (1922-2021), and from 1998, the North-South Ministerial Council and the British-Irish Council.

It has also developed a policy agendas project for Northern Ireland, collecting data on political parties (2016-2022) and legislative bills (1999-2022).

• Party manifestos

  Party manifestos at general elections (Dáil elections), 1981-2020.

  For a data report on party manifesto data from Ireland (1981-2020), see http://irishpolicyagendas.eu/.

  Variable not mentioned in data report, but added for upload to the CAP website: election_in_year, which indicates whether the election was the first or second election in a year. This distinguishes the February and November elections in 1982.
