US Data Update: 2020 Democratic Party Platform

30 Aug 2020

The Democratic Party's platform has been updated! The Democratic Party's convention took place August 17-20, and was largely a virtual event. The party platform was released in time for the convention.

The Republican Party's convention took place the following week, August 24-27. Breaking with tradition, the party did not issue a programmatic platform for the 2020 election. Instead, the party voted to forgo a 2020 platform, choosing instead to focus on presidential re-election.
